The Band Perry is back with “Comeback Kid”. The new song was written and co-produced by Kimberly, Neil, Reid, and pop, rock, hip-hop producer Benny Cassette. Lyrically, the song appears to be a loose reflection of the struggles the group has faced over the past year. There is also an obvious tidbit taken from one of The Band Perry’s earlier hits, “If I Die Young”.The group rolled out the tune with a 24-hour Facebook Live session that shadowed their promotion of the tune around Music City. The Band Perry will perform “Comeback Kid” live for the first time at the 2016 Summer Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil on August 11th.Listen to The Band Perry’s – “Comeback Kid”
